Club proves popular since being introduced in June

When hybrid clubs started to make their mark on the golf world, Redbird Sports owner Jay Turner saw the need for his company to develop one.

Now, the Seattle-based company has a hybrid club on the market that is earning raves and finding its way into golfers’ bags.

“It took us a long time for the design because we wanted a club that was the perfect bridge between an iron and a wood,” said Turner, whose company is in its 20th year of building golf clubs. “We’ve had a great reception for the club so far.”

The hybrid club, which sells for $125, has a flat surface like an iron for greater accuracy and is sole weighted to help get the ball up in the air faster.

The hybrid club comes in three loft options – from 18 degree, 21 degree and 24 degree loft options.

Redbird Sports is a custom golf club maker located in Seattle.
